Submission and Editorial Policy for the Devil's Gain
1. In
our attempt to make this site as accurate and beneficial to our readers
as possible all writers (both professional and amateur) wishing to make
submissions should be prepared to have their work go through our editing
process. Self-editing can be a wonderful tool, but it should never be
the final step before publication.
2.
The editor if given express written permission by the writer will
make necessary changes to submissions before publication. This
permission will need to be clearly given in the body of the email that
the submission is attached to or otherwise included in and any parameter
on this permission will need to be outlined at that time. If this
permission is not given the author will (if need be) receive back editor
notes and be asked to make any changes indicated therein and then
resubmit the piece. When either of these editorial processes are
completed, or if a submission needs no rewrite, the writer will be
informed by email if/when their piece will appear on this site.

All submissions must be made in English. Foreign language submissions
will not be accepted.
4.
Basic rules of punctuation, capitalization, and grammar are just that,
basic. All writers wishing to make submissions should at minimum
attempt to follow these rules of writing if they wish to have their work
seriously considered for inclusion. Submissions with blatant and
multiple mistakes of this nature will be rejected, as it is not the job
of the editor to decipher what the writer is attempting to say.
5.
All writers are welcomed to make multiple submissions, but resubmitting
a piece that has been rejected is both pointless and a black mark
against the writer.
6.
By submitting a piece the person is claiming legal ownership of the
piece. This site and its owners will not be held legally responsible
for articles that are plagiarized and submitted here. By the act of
making a submission permission for its inclusion on this site is given,
but the author of the piece still retains all copyright to the article.
